She uses her athletic training as a basis for describing how to get your personal finances into shape - as the book jacket says, 'She will breathe new energy into your earning, saving, and investing habits.' Which Ms. Feitelberg certainly does.
She equates spending with eating, saving with weighttraining; earning is metabolism; and investing is like cardiac fitness. It starts out, as any good physical fitness program does, with an assessment of your current level of fitness – in this case, your Net Worth. At each step, Ms.Feitelberg, like a good personal trainer, offers advice and guidance for improvement.
Even the non-athlete can understand the metaphors and similies Ms.Feitelberg uses, and they add up to an excellent system of financial fitness. This book is highly recommended.
