It is never the events in our lives that shape us, although many blame the person they become on their circumstances or upbringing. Rather, it is our belief as to what these situations mean that makes the difference. The same events can happen to two people with amazingly different results----

    Alcoholic, drug addict, he tried to commit suicide several times. He was bitter and cruel, and now serves a life sentence for murder. He had two sons born 11 months apart. One is just like his father - drug addict, thief, in jail for attempted murder. The other son is completely different - a family man, 3 lovely children, he enjoys married life and is truly happy. He is Regional Manager for a national company; he is fit and has no alcohol or drug dependencies.
